5 Reasons You Should Already Own Tickets to ACL
Today tickets went on sale for ACL, Austin City Limits. Back to back weekends in October (3-5th, 10-12th); entry price $225 for the three day event. Now let’s get into why you should already have an email confirming your ticket purchase. 5 Words: Beck, Temples, Chvrches (with a ‘v’), Mo and Eminem. These artists will be amongst the 100+ taking the stage at the Texas music festival. And unlike most cities, Austin gets two massive festivals per year – SXSW & ACL. While you may have already missed the spring set (don’t cry over spilled soup), just work on making it down south in t-6 months.
Beck, with our theme song for June 21st.

Chvrches, kills it. In sound and style.
Clap along. MØ.
And lastly, but certainly not least, this old friend. See more here.

Easy Listening / Cathedrals
Continuing the string of great female vocalists in indie bands (cite: Daughter, Chvrches), is Cathedrals. The San Francisco born band just recently released their second single ‘Harlem’, which you can check out right here. With mellow, sway worthy-slow dance beats, and a voice sent from the heavens, we’re betting Cathedrals shows up on more than a few 2014 festival line-ups. Place your bets now. Keep up here.
5 Legitimate Reasons to Be Bummed Out that Coachella Will Sell Out Fast
Okay, fair enough.. not only will it sell out fast, but it’s still a music festival in the damn dessert. Welcome to 105 degree weather, more sunshine than one could ever want & a Heineken-only weekend. But, we still want to go. And here’s why: Continue reading article →
