Match Your Beats to Your Feets

Couldn’t resists. New app, Spring, is currently in development, and hopes to use music to improve your workout by matching the beat of the song, the the stride in your feet. (Or swim, or bike..) Spring Moves, the company behind the app, recently raised $1 million in funding to develop an application that will analyze your rhythm, and then play tunes to match your workout. Read more here.

Detroit Can Dance

This weekend downtown Detroit got taken over. By the club. The Movement Festival moved into Hart Plaza, and won’t be leaving until tonight. Spiderman’s a Drag (Queen)

In an unlikely turn of events, Andrew Garfield, on the heels of the release of The Amazing Spiderman 2, takes on a very different character: drag queen. If you’re going to do something unexpected, do it for the arts. If you’re going to do it and have it be pretty widely accepted & appreciated, do it for Arcade Fire.
