Canada strikes again. Indie trio Half Moon Run out of Montreal are a must-listen. Their debut album Dark Eyes was released just year, followed by a whirlwind tour spanning the US and Europe, opening up for Of Monsters and Men. If you think their sound sounds familiar, maybe you caught the tune ‘Full Circle’ in the advertisement for a little video game called Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. I think we were too busy with Mario Kart.

Don’t look directly in here eyes. We warned you. Lauren Mayberry, lead singer of synth pop trio Chvrches may just take you under her spell. Oh wait, it’s too late. The indie darling with blunt bangs, childish good looks & a voice from heaven is taking her group to the top. With the 2013 debut studio album The Bones of What You Believe, pick up tickets now for their quickly selling out shows and, among them, good ‘ol Los Angeles. Chvrches takes the stage November 18th.
