Overheard / Mesita

Mesita is back, and they’re getting even better. Weaponize your happiness? We don’t know what it means, but we’re digging the tone. In the same song, ‘The Villain’, we get more magic on the lyrics front with this gem: ‘This is how you become the villain.’ Noted. We usually refer to 23 year old girls who over abuse the term “like” for that kind of advice. But we’re listening Mesita.

The new album, ‘Infinity Sky Deluxe’, doesn’t come out until this fall, but in the meantime, you can download this track – for free – on their bandcamp page. Keep up here.

You should.. listen to ‘Day by Day’. And potentially.. go purchase the new record. After all.. they’re on tour. And it could.. be a good idea to catch these guys live. Meet Sons Et Al. What are you waiting for?
