SXSW For Free

Probably one of the best things about a music festival taking over a city, outside of the music festival itself, are all of the other events that go down in tandem with the official event. As we mentioned earlier, SXSW is a tad expensive (but feel free to use your Platinum Mastercard right here). In the event that your bank account cannot accommodate the hefty price tag, get to work. Halftime @ Superbowl Sunday

Today, February 2, Superbowl XLVII goes down in East Rutherford, New Jersey presented by Pepsi. The Denver Broncos will go head to head against the Seattle Seahawks and while plenty of people are very interested in who the victor will be, others exclusively tune in for the commercials.. and the halftime show. Nirvana to Join Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

The 2014 inductees to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame have been announced. 6 new additions will be joining the esteemed graces of AC/DC, The Beatles and The Who. On April 10, Nirvana, KISS, Peter Gabriel, Cat Stevens, Linda Ronstadt and Hall and Oates will be official members to the club. Check out the full story right here.
