As If Anyone Has Money Left Over..

Well, they shouldn’t. According to reports from ComScore, consumers spent $1.2 billion shopping online on Black Friday. So what does that mean for Cyber Monday? We’re betting not a whole lot. So put that call on hold, push that morning meeting off another hour, dig out that credit card, and get searching for that new stereo you just have to have. While you’re at in, maybe drop a few dollars to your favorite non-profit. After all, ’tis the season for new stuff and some charity work.

Easy Listening / Half Moon Run

Canada strikes again. Indie trio Half Moon Run out of Montreal are a must-listen. Their debut album Dark Eyes was released just year, followed by a whirlwind tour spanning the US and Europe, opening up for Of Monsters and Men. If you think their sound sounds familiar, maybe you caught the tune ‘Full Circle’ in the advertisement for a little video game called Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. I think we were too busy with Mario Kart.
