Newly Discovered Johnny Cash Album to be Released

Here’s a Christmas present for Johnny Cash fans.. a new album. Out Among the Stars will be released on March 25, 2014. The album was originally recorded in the 1980s, but when Cash switched labels, the tapes (yes tapes) got buried away by Johnny & June, never to be released. Until now. Check out the full story here.

Easy Listening / Braids

Braids is still flying under the indie pop radar but that won’t stay true for long. The trio out of Calgary, Alberta appeared on the scene with their first studio album, Native Speaker in 2011. This year they’ve released their follow-up full-length, entitled Flourish // Perish. While we don’t want to read between the lines on the title, we’re all ears to find some meaning in their easy to listen to sound.

Want tech toys do people on Tumblr really care about? Thanks to publishing platform’s analytics team we now know. They put together a list of the top 10 tech of 2013, and look what made the list: the Samsung OLED flexible screen. Samsung showed off the innovative display at CES earlier this year. Now I’m sure you’re asking, what does one do with a state of the art bendable screen? Watch Ice Age obviously.
