Lollapalooza 2014 (Nearly) Sold Out; Line Up Announced

Yesterday tickets officially went on sale for Lollapalooza 2014, of course without a full line-up on the table, and all that remains now are VIP passes you can pick up for a mere $1k. While the Early Bird, 3-day & 1-day passes all flew from the shelves faster than you can say, “Your website is down”, today we find out why. The official line up has been announced and ticket holders can now commence their cheering/whining.

While a few artists had been leaked (namely – the one, the only – Eminem, Arctic Monkeys, Kings of Leon), and others we assumed (Outkast is doing a major festival round this summer, hey ya), the rest we read with excitement and a touch of disappointment (not everyone’s favorite band can play the show #capacityissues). Here’s a sampling of the artists you will find meandering around Chicago August 1-3, 2014.

NoNoNo. YesYesYes. We feel these guys may have a thing for Dirty Dancing. Two big songs from the Swedish band are ‘Hungry Eyes’ and ‘Like the Wind’. Patrick would be proud.

The musical stylings of Ms. Lykke Li. Here she lends her vocals to a song by The Deportees.

Papa, put me to work.

Guaranteed to be the best dance moves at the music festival: Blood Orange.

2014, Arctic Monkeys, Blood Orange, Chicago, Eminem, Lollapalooza, Lykke Li, music festival, NoNoNo, Outkast, Papa, The Deportees
