Nirvana to Join Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

The 2014 inductees to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame have been announced. 6 new additions will be joining the esteemed graces of AC/DC, The Beatles and The Who. On April 10, Nirvana, KISS, Peter Gabriel, Cat Stevens, Linda Ronstadt and Hall and Oates will be official members to the club. Check out the full story right here.

Billy Idol Rocks Echo Park

Nothing like a little Billy Idol on what, for most people, would be an unexciting Sunday night. But not for these lucky folks in Echo Park, California who caught the seemingly un-aging rockstar as he performed with former Sex Pistols’ guitarist Steve Jones, Leigh Gorman and Clem Burke at the opening of Shepherd Fairey‘s new art exhibit last night. Homeless Coder Launches First App

The story starts with a young programmer named Patrick McConlogue who, upon passing homeless people daily on his way to work, decided to propose an offer to one of them. McConlogue offered Leo Grand either $100, or free development lessons on how to code. Grand took the lessons. That was in August.
