Ever have one of those days where you just want to send your bestfriend/colleague/significant other a ‘yo’, but – alas – there’s no app for that? Now there is.

The ‘Yo’ app allows you to send the words “yo” to anyone with a cell phone. Sound simple? It is. Sound stupid? Tell that to the 50k users already hooked, and try not to scoff at the $1 million the developer has already raised. The app can be downloaded here. (Is that Yahoo!’s purple?)
